About the nonprofit organization Miroku

The voluntary organization NPOMiroku provides free counseling via LINE meetings for up to four hours to the next generation of children under the age of 18 (minors).

Is there something wrong?

Do you feel something is off about this society?

The standard of living has certainly improved compared to 300 years ago.

But has your heart been enriched?

Please see the following document. Source: “World Happiness Report”

If you look at the world happiness rankings for 2024, Japan is ranked 51st.

If you don't think about it, but instead get the best education in a good home environment, a good nursery school, a good elementary school, a good middle school, a good high school, and a good university,

Was I really happy with the outcome of being able to join the best company?

I myself was of the former mindset.

Of course, it is true that there are a certain number of people who are truly happy,

It seems to me that most people are not living a life that they can truly be satisfied with.

So, is it the country or politicians' fault? Is it society's or companies' fault? Is it because of school education or the family environment?

Who gave birth to these politicians and societies?

Isn't this the responsibility of adults, including myself?

When did YouTubers, social media influencers, and the like start becoming part of the mass media and reporting on the news?

When did he start posting slanderous comments about people in his videos and on social media?

When did I start to care about what others thought of me?

When did I lose sight of the difference between truth and fact?

Since when has it happened that so many people criticize weekly newspapers, yet do the same thing?

When did we start to see the forest for the trees?

When did it lose its original purpose?

Since when did freedom of speech and freedom of expression become hate speech?

These things are not directed at any particular person.

Everyone, including myself, needs to question the situation with our heads and hearts, stop and take a broad view.

Humans are imperfect creatures, but I think it's good to associate with people who are on the same wavelength as you.

I sincerely hope that everyone, including myself, will think and act of their own volition so that we can all be happy.

Can we pass on this kind of world to the next generation?

How long will you continue to make the same mistakes?

As stated above, the number one cause of death for people aged 10 to 18 in Japan is suicide.

Internationally, Japan is the only G7 country where suicide is the leading cause of death among people under the age of 18.

From the voluntary organization NPOMiroku to the NPO Miroku
To Miroku Co., Ltd.

I recently launched a nonprofit organization. I had many conflicts within myself when I launched this nonprofit organization.

In establishing the NPO, two vice-presidents have already been decided, and we are currently recruiting new directors, auditors, and employees.

What is the difference between a nonprofit organization (NPO) and an NPO corporation?

1. Nonprofit Organizations

  • Legal status:
It is a non-legal organization and does not have legal personality. It is treated as a "voluntary organization."

  • Establishment procedure:
There is no need to notify the government, and the company can be established simply by agreement among the members.

  • Scope of responsibility:
Because they do not have legal personality, they cannot enter into contracts or manage assets in their own name, and the representative and members are held personally liable.

  • Tax treatment:
Although it is not a for-profit organization, it may be treated as a "sociation of individuals" under tax law and does not receive preferential tax treatment.

2. NPOs (Non-Profit Organizations)

  • Legal status:
It is an organization with legal personality established under the "NPO Act (Act to Promote Specified Nonprofit Activities)". It is recognized as a corporation and has legal rights and obligations.

  • Establishment procedure:
Establishment requires application and certification from the competent authorities (prefectures and the country). The procedures are complicated and take time, but once certification is obtained, the company will acquire legal personality.

  • Scope of responsibility:
Contracts and property management can be done under the name of a legal entity. Individuals are not directly liable for the debts of the association (limited liability).

  • Tax treatment:
Although you are required to file tax returns as a corporation, you may be eligible for tax benefits for activities other than profit-making activities.

To summarise the differences:
